Lehtiyhtymä
Suomen Lehtiyhtymä (The Finnish News Paper Consortium) is a privately owned printing company which publishes a large number of regional newspapers, free papers and trade magazines. The company owns four separate production facilities.
In 2008 the company's turnover was roughly € 80 million and it employed 630 people.
Tabloid and newspaper production
Lehtipaino specialises in tabloids and newspapers. In 2008 its staff of 80 skilful professionals worked three shifts to produce 320 million papers consuming approximately 27,000 tons of paper. In addition to its own production, the consortium has a client base of 35 to 40 regularly published papers. Their circulation ranges from 10,000 copies to the 2.0 million copies of nation-wide publications. The papers and magazines printed for the clients have a great deal of variety: They include daily and regional newspapers, free papers, customer magazines of various companies and communities, member magazines of trade organisations, commercial print products, etc.
